Poppy is looking for an Administration Associate to join us on the rapidly evolving adventure that is Poppy. You will be the new force that will empower our finance & admin team in the broadest sense possible.You will work closely together with the Head of Finance, the Senior Administration Lead and the accounting team. One of your main responsibilities will be streamlining the cash collection process – everything between the end of a Poppy trip and the moment the money is in our bank account. You will also be often in contact with our customers, helping them with questions about their billings and payments. As Administration Associate you will combine your administrative duties with hands-on activities such as answering the questions of our clients through e-mail or on the phone. You will also strive to improve and automate the process to the maximum.


Administration Associate responsibilities

  • You report directly to our Head of Finance
  • You will own the cash collection process end-to-end and optimize it
  • You're in daily contact with our customers to answer any administrative issue
  • You will work alongside the Senior Administration Lead and learn to master all admin processes of Poppy
  • You will help our Head of Finance and the accounting team with the processing of internal invoices and payments

Administration Associate requirements:

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in any subject; business administration, economics, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship or IT is a plus
  • A first working experience; experiences in finance, admin or accounting is a plus
  • Eye for detail and structured working ethics
  • A problem solving mindset 
  • Fluent in English and Dutch or French (having both is a plus)
  • Flexibility: feeling comfortable in an always-changing start-up environment
  • Being able to work independently and in a small team
  • Willing to take initiative and ownership
  • Being eager to learn
  • Being able to maintaining a positive attitude at all times
